The Sasamani Foundation provides sponsorships and holistic support to 200 students from vulnerable backgrounds in Bagamoyo, Tanzania, with a particular emphasis on empowering girls. This support spans from middle school all the way through college, ensuring that these young minds have access to quality education and opportunities for a brighter future. Sasamani's investment in education is not only changing individual lives but also contributing to the development and empowerment of the entire Bagamoyo community.

Sasamani believes that the surest way out of poverty is education.

When you sponsor a student, you have a positive impact on the student's life in many ways. Not only do you empower the students, but also their families and communities.

A $40 monthly or $480 annual donation covers a student's school fees from middle school through college and ensures each student's basic needs are met such as food, boarding costs, health insurance, hygiene and school supplies, and transportation.

2. You receive a welcome letter from our Education Director, a detailed student profile, further information about the sponsorship and ways you can get more engaged and support the student's learning journey.
3. See the student(s) you sponsor flourish and their life changing. You will keep in touch through the exchange of letters. And our Education Director will keep you updated on their progress too. 
4. Sponsorships are 100% tax deductible. ​
