Our Future Leaders program provides Sasamani-sponsored students with career preparation and potential employment opportunities, aiming to boost economic prospects and skills development for youth in Tanzania. Sasamani maximizes participants’ engagement by offering these programs as free, interactive, and engaging opportunities for youth.
Future Leaders activities include:
Career Guidance: This initiative introduces 200 middle school, high school, and college students to the job market, career options, and career planning through two in-depth classroom sessions at the Sasamani office in Bagamoyo and one hands-on, career focused session at a business in the community. The Sasamani staff presents Career Guidance Job Market Exposure Sessions at Sasamani sponsored schools in Bagamoyo for an additional 500 students exposing them to Career Guidance planning.
Plan for Tomorrow Training: Held at the Sasamani office, this training aims to instill self-awareness, critical thinking, purpose, and a growth mindset in all participants.
Professional Network: As part of Future Leaders, students gain access to an active alumni network of influential women leaders from Sasamani’s Women Leading Change program, facilitating meaningful internships and career opportunities.
